The Origin :

The name Aira comes from Aira City in Kagoshima, Japan, my grandmother’s hometown  -  the person who first introduced me to the beauty of jewelry.

“When you grow up, this will be yours.”

She said this as she placed a cat’s-eye stone ring in the palm of my small hand.
At that moment, I understood that jewelry is not merely something beautiful.

It carries the love and tenderness of the giver, along with the stories and history that flow through generations—making the treasure I received far more than an object, but a vessel of memory and connection that I cherish to this day.

Forma is derived from the Latin word for “form” or “shape.”

It represents the act of giving form to the invisible — emotions, memories, histories and stories that lie beneath the surface.
